Ubicazione: Gubbio (Pg)
Data: 2005
Stato realizzazione: Realizing

It's a project financed by INAIL with Umbria Province and the Local Organization interested in the future management and fruition of the structure. The project was carried out on the plan which a special cabinet-council was involved where the chairman was Arch. Renzo Piano. The final result was a "Model hospital":

The hospital is built in a place named Branca, a central place for all the towns nearby. In front of the hospital there is the old church of Madonna del Granello. The background is marvellous and the nature has strictly been respected.

The hospital may receive 200 bed rooms and it's for a population of 60/80 thousand inhabitants.

The acoustic project involved a small room for conference, meetings and professional training for the hospital staff. The project was studied through a virtual three-dimensional software called "Ramsete 2.1". The final solution suggested the use of a series of acoustic sound-absorber panels of topakustik.

Arch. Lamberto Rossi of Milan presided over the whole project.
