The study is about the realization of the Campus of the Eastern Piedmont University "Amedeo Avogadro", in Nocara. Campus is going to realized with a conservative renovation of several building of former military barracks "Perrone" and with the realization of two new buildings for classrooms and services. The consulting was divided into: - environmental compatibility: with in field noise measurement we realised a noise map of actual situation and we verified the environmental acoustic compatibility of actual and expected noise situations compared to requirements of school places. The area of study is close behind the ring-road of Novara and so it there is a remarkable road traffic noise. All along the perimeter of the area there is a wall 3m high and it is like a noise barrier towards the campus area. In spaces leaned out on the ring-road, it will be sufficient using fixtures with good noise insulation to have a good acoustic climate.
- study of particular spaces in which a good acoustic comfort is requested. Particularly, in collaboration with the architectural designers, we have been studied and planned the noise insulations among the different spaces, the reduction reverberation time of the classrooms (through the digital reconstruction of the spaces) and we calculated the noisiness of the conditioning plants, inside the classrooms, all watching out for the constructive details.
